Our Orthotics improve foot, lower limb, back and musculoskeletal function to help relieve and resolve painful conditions.  Is orthotic therapy for me?

• Foot orthotics comprise a custom made or ‘off the shelf’ insert fitted into a shoe. They provide support for the foot by redistributing ground reaction forces as well as re-aligning foot joints while standing, walking and running. This involves a detailed biomechanical and gait analysis

• A variety of materials are used to construct orthotics. Material selection will be discussed with you. We take into account the longevity of your devices and on average your orthotics should last for at least 3 to 5 years if not longer, depending on wear and tear

• Due to advances in technology, orthotics are light weight, non bulky, highly effective, comfortable and able to fit into a wide variety of footwear including dress shoes and sandals

• Remember, orthotics are only as good as the footwear they are worn in. Your Podiatrist will advise what footwear is appropriate if your current shoes are not suitable
